ISS-Corporate, a prominent provider of governance, compensation, cyber-risk monitoring and sustainability solutions aimed at enhancing shareholder value and mitigating risk, has announced the acquisition of Celsia, a software-as-a-service (SaaS) company based in Oslo specialising in corporate sustainability reporting. Established in 2021, Celsia’s software streamlines regulatory sustainability reporting, particularly addressing the European Union’s (EU’s) Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) regulations. By automating CSRD reporting workflows and providing expert guidance, Celsia supports over 300 companies in meeting sustainability reporting requirements efficiently, with some clients experiencing up to an 80% reduction in reporting time compared to traditional methods. As the deadline approaches for approximately 50,000 EU/European Economic Area companies to implement CSRD requirements, demand for solutions such as Celsia’s is expected to increase, with significant cost savings and efficiency gains for businesses.
