About Narasimhan
Based in Bengaluru, Narasimhan – an Executive Committee member – leads our HR, Training and Knowledge Management (TKM), Corporate Services and Compliance teams. He will also spearhead efforts in designing and developing a forward-looking people and talent strategy, tailored to support Acuity Knowledge Partners’ rapid business growth, increased headcount and strategic priorities spanning organic growth, M&A, technology and AI adoption, and business professionalisation.
Additionally, he oversees global HR strategy and operations, including policy development, employee engagement organisational design. He ensures seamless processes and thriving workplace culture and leads talent acquisition efforts, focusing on attracting and retaining top-tier talent to drive business success.
Narasimhan also helms Acuity’s corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives, adopting strategies to reinforce the company’s commitment to creating a positive social impact. His leadership aligns with the Executive Committee’s broader efforts to drive global business growth and ensure the HR function scales effectively to support operations across 16 global locations.
Narasimhan brings 25 years of extensive experience in HR leadership. Most recently, he served as the global head of talent acquisition at State Street, where he led global hiring strategies from Singapore, driving talent acquisition across multiple regions.
Before this, he was the head of HR at State Street’s global hubs in India, Poland and China, overseeing an approximately 25,000 workforce. During his tenure, he played a pivotal role in enhancing employee engagement, streamlining operations and spearheading large-scale HR transformation initiatives.
He has also held HR leadership roles at Bank of America, Mphasis and Satyam. He has lived and worked across India, the UK, Hong Kong SAR and Singapore.
Over the last few years, Narasimhan has taken an active interest in running. He is the first Indian to have run all the world’s major marathons twice – Boston, London, Berlin, Chicago, New York and Tokyo Marathons. He intends to retire from running world majors and is in the process of identifying his next calling.
He is also interested in Formula One and is a test cricket enthusiast. He loves cooking and is passionate about supporting causes surrounding education and wellness.
Narasimhan holds an MBA in human resources and management from Xavier Institute of Management and Entrepreneurship, and a bachelor of engineering from Bangalore University.
