Private Markets Gear Up for 2025 Deal Surge with Tech-first Mindset

The DrawDown | March 21, 2025

In an exclusive interview with The Drawdown, Pratap Narayan Singh, MD & Global Head of Private Markets, Acuity Knowledge Partners, shares insights on the private market landscape for operational professionals in 2025.

He states that following rate cuts in late 2024, interest rates are projected to decline further in 2025. As a result, fundraising sentiments are positive despite distribution challenges due to weak exits, as unveiled in Acuity's upcoming Global Private Markets Outlook survey.

Pratap also highlights that the sector is flush with dry powder ready to be deployed. Emerging trends from the survey indicate that opportunities to invest and deploy dry powder will increase in 2025.
