- The compliance function of a global asset manager was exploring the option of leveraging third-party expertise to manage Private Equity deals, FX hedges and Hedge Fund Support
- Needed support with their trade activities for private equity group while ensuring fixed cost reduction and saving time to train new personnel
OUR APPROACH
- Deployed a hybrid team of onshore (3 FTEs) and offshore (4FTEs) employees

- Fund accounting support (on Investran)
- Private Equity FX Hedging recommendations & post trade review
- Monthly hedge target check
- Review in-kind trades against escalation triggers
- Verify bookings of PE deals by reviewing the investment documents
- Review of Hedge Ratio Report, Liquidity Report and UCITS fund report
- Review suggested trades
- Submit required FX trades
- Review monthly contract rolls and spot trades
- Started with the review of FX recommendations and the rest followed suit within 3 months as and when the client gained confidence in the quality of work and the team’s quick learning
