CLIENT CHALLENGES
- The client, with a multi-year investment plan to relaunch its benchmark business, aspired to become a leading benchmark index provider. After an extensive evaluation of potential partners, Acuity was chosen as a strategic partner to render index support services on both index technology and index operations and research. A team of 45 technology and index resources currently provide index support to the client.
OUR APPROACH

- Acuity deployed a dedicated team of tech architects, UI developers, .NET developers and Azure specialists as part of a high-frequency index platform development and maintenance programme
- The platform has capabilities to source data from multiple sources, cleanse the data, store data as a golden copy to be fed into a rule-based index calculator and deliver performance and risk analytics with multi-channel distribution
- Advanced and complex UI development with industry-leading throughput was a key design principle
- We provide end-to-end building and maintenance of the platform, and index operations and research

- Index operations team providing 24x5 coverage supports the client with the entire index process cycle

- Research on security-level data – free float, shares O/S, nationality, industry classifications, country assignments, revenue breakdown
- Compiling end-to-end documentation and SOPs on all structural and operational parameters
- UAT testing, identifying bugs and raising JIRA requests, liaising with tech team to resolve issues
